Too many producers today attach the ‘green’ badge to their product without considering whether their venture is truly green and truly sustainable. We believe whole heartedly that there is no reason why investors cannot have a product that benefits them financially as well as the planet at the same time. The two can work hand in hand and indeed for it to be sustainable we believe that this must continue to be the case.Investors lease plots of forest for the time it takes the trees to mature. From the outset, clients own the trees, which are always at least three years old to avoid the numerous complications that often occur when growing seedlings. When the trees are thinned at year 11 (after 8 years of ownership) or felled, revenue is generated.
